Aviation Museum, military section

The Norwegian National Museum of Aviation in Bodø offers an educational experience. Both modern and historic aircraft are exhibited here. Spread over 10 000 square metres the museum houses civil and military exhibitions, as well as a workshop for restoration of planes, library, restaurant, conference rooms, etc. On a guided tour you will get up close to famous and feared aircraft, such as the Spitfire, Mosquito, Ju-52, Twin Otter, U-2 spy plane, and many others.

There are specially designed educational programmes for kindergartens and schools. If you have questions about the history of aviation the staff at the museum are the right people to ask.
