Swim with elks...

Where the elk was going nobody knows, although it was swimming in the direction of Greenland. Our guide could tell us that the animals can swim up to 100 kilometres, something confirmed by this elk. There were tourists of many nationalities in the RIB boat and they were very inquisitive about the anatomy of Norwegian elks. Did they have fins? Or perhaps webbed hoofs? One thing for certain about this one was that it could swim, and we hope that it arrived safely on dry land without meeting a hunter. For the elk hunting season was in full swing when we met this one at sea.
